Subscription Terms

Plans + pricing

  • Free — $0. One student, one teacher, manual scheduling, basic feedback, five practice uploads per month, one invoice draft per month. No card required. Stays free forever (within the limits above).
  • Pro Monthly$12.99 / mo. Unlimited students, audio review with timestamps, Google Calendar sync, Stripe + Interac + email invoicing, exam-prep tracking, data export, all paywalled features.
  • Pro Annual$99 / yr (saves 36% vs monthly).

Prices shown in USD. Apple and Google convert to local currency at their published rates. Local tax may apply on top depending on your country.

Auto-renewal

The Pro subscription auto-renews on a rolling monthly or annual basis. Your Apple ID / Google Play account is charged within 24 hours before each renewal at the then-current price. You can cancel at any time before that 24-hour window to avoid the next charge.

We don't run silent price increases. If we change Pro pricing, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice via email + in-app banner and can cancel before the new price takes effect. Apple and Google may require additional consent on their side for price changes — follow whatever flow they show you.

Who you're contracting with

When you tap "Start Pro" on iOS, the payment is processed by Apple under their App Store Terms. We receive Pro entitlement notifications from Apple via App Store Server Notifications and unlock Pro features on your studio account.

On Android, payments are processed by Google under the Google Play Terms with the same flow.

Cancellation + refund

See /refunds. Short version: cancel in iOS Settings → Subscriptions or Play Store → Subscriptions. Refunds within Apple/Google's discretion via their refund flow — we cannot refund Pro directly.

What happens when you cancel or downgrade

Cancel Pro → you keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period, then your studio drops to the Free tier. Your data isn't deleted; it stays exactly as it was. If you exceed Free limits (e.g. more than one student), those records remain visible but you can't add new ones or perform paywalled actions until you upgrade again.

We don't delete anything for non-payment alone. Account deletion is a separate, explicit action you take in Settings → Account → Delete account.

Pro for studios with multiple teachers

Pro is per-studio. One Pro subscription unlocks every member of that studio (currently: studio admin + invited teachers + their students' households). We don't charge per-seat for v1.

Family Sharing / family plans

Pro is single-account. Family Sharing is off by default in App Store Connect. If we ever turn it on, this document will say so explicitly — until then, treat Pro as account-specific.

Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. We don't credit accounts automatically for outages; instead, extended outages are handled case-by-case under our refund policy (see /refunds §6).
